DISTANT BLOOM - ember trail
Distant Bloom was announced recently Gamescom, a project that is close to our hearts here at Brainbug.
We joined the project early on in production and helped the team at Ember Trail further realize their somber but hopeful vision of biome restoration on a dying world!
We provided early visual development on the project and as we moved into pre-production we supplied concept support helping to flesh out the characters, home-base and the all important flora for this alien biosphere!
As the project the grew and journeyed deeper into development, weaving its core message and tone into the artwork we provided became its most rewarding challenge. From there we contributed to the games promotional art, working closely with the in-house art team to capture the specific vision of this new other-worldly frontier!
Working with a highly skilled and passionate indie team is always a joyous experience, one where the mutual passion for a project propels it to new heights, we hope that can be felt when exploring the world of Distant Bloom!
