Here at Brainbug we’re fans of things that go bump in the dark, rolling dice and primordial terror - so when the opportunity to collaborate with Osprey on a project that combined all of the above, we were powerless to say no!

We were also very fortunate that Osprey were keen that artistically, everything in this book was to be provided by us. This allowed us the chance to define a signature look and maintain a consistency in style and execute on a bold singular vision for the project.

The team were tasked with creating a stripped back monochrome aesthetic that suggested the sketchbook scribblings of someone unfortunate enough to witness these supernatural waking nightmares. All whilst dodging musket fire, rattling sabres AND cavalry charges.

We hope players have as much fun getting lost in this dark, historical Table-top as we did working on it!
